TOM GOLD, CREATOR OF GOLD FEVER, EXPLAINS WHY HE PIONEERED COLOURED EXTENSIONS

Ever stared at hair colour samples and thought, "Is this really all there is?" That frustration lit a fire in me. My obsession with crafting truly unique extensions started with an eye-opening conversation.

I'm in our production facility, surrounded by a sea of hair samples. Venkat, my production manager, casually mentions, "You know, these funky colours? They're primarily for the German market".

It hit me like a bolt of lightning. We weren't just making hair extensions; we were crafting cultural expressions.

Each market, each individual, craves something unique. That's when I knew we had to push further.

I'll never forget Emma, a hairstylist client of ours. She called, exasperated after some of her clients left disappointed with standard colours of extensions.

We worked together, blending shades I'd never even thought to combine. When her next client looked in the mirror, Emma said there were tears of joy. That feeling became my addiction.

Through years of experimentation, I developed a signature

multi-tonal blending technique, creating a masterpiece that seamlessly enhances the client's natural hair. My pioneering method focuses on sustainability and hair health, using an all-natural ingredient to boost colour vibrancy and nourish the extensions from within. This approach not only minimises waste but also ensures our luxury extensions improve the overall look and feel of the client's hair, resulting in a transformative experience of enhanced beauty and health.

To me, hair extensions aren't a product - they're a form of art.

Our canvas? The incredible diversity of people around the world.

Our goal? To make everyone feel so fantastic, so vibrant, so themselves, that they can't help but walk down the street like it's their personal catwalk.

So, next time you're stuck staring at a boring colour ring, remember: there's a whole universe of colour out there waiting to be discovered. Don't settle for "good enough".
